Chapter 2 — The Woman Who Stole Everything

The mansion remained frozen after Alejandro's phone call.

The mistress stared at him.

Her hands trembled.

“What do you mean destroy everything?”

Alejandro finally turned toward her.

His eyes contained no love.

No warmth.

Only rage.

“You thought I didn't know?”

The woman stepped backward.

For the first time, fear replaced her confidence.

“Alejandro... I don't understand.”

“Really?”

He opened another file on his phone.

Then tossed it onto a nearby table.

Photographs.

Bank transfers.

Property records.

Private messages.

Every secret she had hidden for years.

The color drained from her face.

“You forged Elena's signature.”

“You transferred company assets.”

“You bribed investigators.”

“You convinced everyone my wife disappeared willingly.”

Each sentence landed like a hammer.

The servants exchanged shocked glances.

Elena stood silently beside the staircase.

She couldn't believe what she was hearing.

Because three years ago she had vanished after a mysterious car accident.

When she woke up in a private clinic, she had no identification.

No phone.

No memory of how she got there.

By the time she recovered, Alejandro had already been told she abandoned him.

And someone made sure she never found her way home.

The mistress.

Victoria.

The woman Alejandro had trusted.

Victoria suddenly laughed.

A desperate laugh.

“Fine.”

“You know the truth.”

“But it's too late.”

She lifted her chin arrogantly.

“Everything belongs to me now.”

Then—

RING.

Alejandro's phone rang.

He answered immediately.

The voice on the other side spoke only a few words.

Alejandro's expression changed instantly.

He looked toward Elena.

Then whispered:

“Prepare the helicopter.”

“We found him.”

Elena frowned.

“Found who?”

May you like

Alejandro slowly looked into her eyes.

“The man who saved your life.”
